Hello my name is Addie Scott. I am 16 years old and in the graduating class of 2023. I have always loved swimming for as long as I can remember. Around age 10 was when I decided i wanted to be a competitive swimmer and ever since competitive swimming has been a major part of my life. My favorite thing about the sport is the relationship i have with my teammates. Due to the pandemic last year my team was out of the water for about five months which has made this past season especially challenging. The transition was difficult, but I worked hard and was able to improve my times. Through the challenging year i was able to drop my times significantly and begin to improve other stokes I am not as comfortable with. This past school year was also very different. I was partially in school and partially at home doing distance learning. I also played feild hockey for the 4th year this past fall and i have been playing the piano for 10 years. My goal after i graduate high school is to swim at a division 1 (possibly 2) college. I hope to find a college that will encourage me and help me reach my goals. I also hope to find a team where i can make long lasting relationships and improve myself in and out of the pool.
