Skyler Semisch '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since i was 6 years old. Swimming and being in the water is my escape from life. I can always count on swimming to cure a headache, calm me down after a bad day, or just make my day brighter. Ever since i was little i have always wanted to compete in college. During every hard swim practice i encounter i think about where it will take me and I envision swimming for a collegiate team of my dreams. Who that is, i dont know.  I am a hard-working, dedicated, passionate character who never fails to brighten up a mood or bring unlimited energy to a crowd. I have struggled managing academics and athletics throughout high school due to the overwhelming schedules and my family‘s decision in moving houses. Although throughout the years i have slowly adapted and take multiple honors and advance placement classes. There is always a struggle in the beginning but i can maintain an A and B average.
