Gina Ortiz '21 Recruiting Profile

My future endeavors as a student and athlete have always been my main priority and this shows through my dedication, passion for learning, discipline, and leadership. This is is why one of my major aspirations is to pursue higher education at a top academic institution where intellectual growth and experiences are the top priority, while still being able to continue my swimming. Not only do my transcripts support all claims about my efforts throughout high school, this can also be seen in my various extracurriculars, including swimming. I'm an incredibly determined person, mostly due to limitations that have been imposed because of certain conditions yet I've managed to overcome these. This determination and discipline to become a better version of myself and overcome all adversity makes me a valuable recruit and student for any college/university.
