I have been swimming since the third grade. Over the years I have worked hard and stayed dedicated to the sport. I am a goal-setter and work to make sure that I meet the high standards that I set for myself. Through my perseverance, I have made regional qualifying times in six events and strive to turn those into state times.
Besides swimming, I participate in honors and AP classes, triathlon, and I am active in my school's FFA chapter. I am also a member of my high school's elite choir, the Henry County Madrigals. I have mastered the art of balancing this busy schedule, finding time to maintain excellent grades while training for swimming and triathlon. Although there are times my schedule seems overwhelming, the passion and love that I can feel from myself and my teammates alike continuously reminds me that it is more than worth it. I believe that my dedication, perseverance, and motivation, both in the water and out of it, will be a wonderful addition to any team. I hope to continue dropping time in all of my events and to become part of a team that will push me to my full potential.
