Hi !!!, I’m Valeria Madrid , I’m a student -athlete / Collegiate student at Dickinson Highschool.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself, 

I’m originally from Guatemala , and this is my fourth year here in the US.

 I LOVE SWIMMING ! and I’ve been a top 5 regional finalist since my freshman year . My specialty strokes are Butterfly and Freestyle with the events of : 100 butterfly , 100 freestyle , 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. 

I’m very determined , dedicated and passionate for my sport as well as my academics . I maintain a 3.8 GPA , and I balance my time between swimming and school to maximize performance. 

I love to be with my team and cheer each other out , as well as maintaining team work . I’m also a big supporter of sportsmanship because I’m someone that is based on ethics and values.
