I am not the type of person who quits easily. I want to be the best. While I know that I am not the fastest or best swimmer out there, I love swimming and have a passion for what I am doing. A lot of people have trouble finding their purpose and passion in life, but I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to experience swimming and figure out mine already. I have grown so much since I've started swimming; not only as an athlete but as a person. I've become a dedicated, motivated, determined, and confident person. I know my limits and I try to push them whenever I can, especially when I'm struggling during or race or in practice. Being a competitive swimmer has done so much for me and I'd hate to have to stop after I graduate high school. I would love the opportunity to be allowed to swim and compete in college and be able to grow into the best swimmer that I possibly can.
