Hi, my name is Annaleagh
I am looking to study mechanical engineering when I go to college. The reason I want to become a mechanical engineer is because I love math and my brothers are both engineers and they aspire me. They've always taught me that you always need to work hard. So, that makes me want to work hard. I will work hard to not only meet my academic goals, but also my swim goals.
I have been competitive swimming since I was four years old. l like to communicate with my coaches on how my technique is and get their input on ways I can improve. I also like to take charge of things and work hard on them so I can improve not only my times but my endurance. I like learning new things. I am a team player and cheer for my teammates while they swim. I like to have a lot of fun, and I like to talk a lot.
I have been training hard for the past 8 years. My previous schedule was I eight practices a week with me waking up at 3:30 AM to go to practice at 4:30 AM. With two afternoon practices. I live about an hour from the pool. This year I have switched to a six-week schedule and practice afternoons. I switched schedule due to a scheduling conflict with school.
These are my goals for this season:
