Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Josephine Greer, and I live in Rainbow City, Alabama. I have attended Westbrook Christian School since 8th grade, where I’ve been a proud member of the Varsity Tennis Team since that time. I maintain a 4.0 GPA and am currently enrolled in all honors classes.
I am a dedicated, hardworking individual who always strives to excel both on and off the court. As a team leader, I focus on maintaining a positive attitude and uplifting others, whether they’re facing challenges or already having a great day. I am highly organized and enjoy learning new skills, applying this mindset not only to academics but also to my game on the court.
I value feedback and actively seek opportunities to grow. Listening to my coaches’ advice and immediately implementing their guidance is one of my strengths. My ultimate goal is to play college tennis and earn a starting position as a freshman. I understand this requires constant effort and growth, and I am committed to working hard to achieve that dream.

- This was my first UTR Tournament. I am still working on getting a better UTR.

- I had a blast at this camp this year! It was absolutely wonderful and I learned so much from this camp. There were many student-athletes coaching us in various drills. However, the assistant coaches from the men's and women's teams coached us as well. This camp makes me excited for the upcoming season to really use the new skills I have learned.

- This was the first time I attended this camp. It was a completely new and different experience from what the University of Alabama was. I was mostly taught by other athletes at the school, but I do remember having the assistant coaches teaching as well.

- This was the second time I attended this camp. It was amazing the first time so I went back the next year. I was again trained by athletes at the college and the head and assistant coaches.

- I attended this camp for the first time when I was 10 years old. It was a great experience for me and I learned so much! I was taught by athletes from the girl's and boy's teams as well as the head coach of the women's team.

- I began playing Tennis when I was six. I played the sport off and on over the course of seven years. However, once I changed schools I joined the High School Varsity Team and I have been pursuing more intense training for the past three years. Since then I have seen a significant development of my skills and I hope to continue growing them as I continue my training.
