Hello!
My name is Faith Voorhies. I was born in the Chicago area and moved to Yuma, Arizona when I was ten. I've been playing competitive tennis since I was 11. I have been a high school varsity tennis player since my freshman year; most recently, I was undefeated in singles during my sophomore year and was the Gila Ridge High School's athlete of the month for May of 2023. At the completion of both my first- and second-year student tennis seasons, I was selected by the Yuma Rotary Club for the All Regions Team.
Outside tennis, I am a member of HOSA (Future Health Professionals), the student council, and the swim team. During the summer, I work as a lifeguard and tennis coach at our local country club. I am a straight-A student taking dual credit and college classes at Arizona Western College.
After high school, I aim to attend a competitive college or university where I can play tennis and obtain a medical degree. I aspire to one day be a pediatric plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio! :)
