Being able to take my team tennis experience even further means a lot to me, as playing for Arcadia High School has made my role in this community feel even more purposeful. One of my main goals for college, whether academic or for tennis, is to constantly push myself towards improvement, so playing tennis at a more competitive level would help me achieve this goal, both physically and mentally. My contributions to a college team would extend beyond being skillful at the sport, as I aim to play with leadership, dedication, and sportsmanship, regardless of the circumstances. Even when faced with tough competition, especially during high school matches, I maintain my composure because not only am I representing myself but also my school, so sportsmanship and mental toughness are crucial. Also, although tennis is important to me and I commit to it 100% when on the court, academic excellence has always been a priority, which reflects my perceptions of success that are focused on the bigger picture.
