Since the start of my seventh grade year I have always been involved in multiple extra circulars such as tennis, jazz band, concert band, and drumline while still keeping my main focus on my academics. The start of my freshmen year I made it a goal to tackle tennis, jazz band, and drumline while still trying to keep my GPA at a 3.9. I will always put my education first because I know how important it is in the long run. As many have multiple goals they strive for, I don't because keeping one goal and sticking to it is more realistically achievable. My number one main aspiration is to have enough growth over time and be able to look back at my past self and know that I was able to achieve much more than I thought I could. I never want to hold myself back from any potential and only want to become the best version of myself. I believe I am different because I don't see tennis as this sport that you hit balls and gain a score on. I see tennis as something I can run to when I'm overwhelmed or stressed, or something I can rely on when needed.
