I have played tennis since I was about 6 years old. I started weekly instruction at age 9. I have played on all-girl and co-ed USTA teams. I did not play on my high school team my first 2 yrs. of HS because I was a cheerleader. I did continue playing and taking lessons during this time. I missed tennis and went back to play varsity in 11th grade. We were undefeated and won our league. I played in a few rounds of Individual and team CIF. I currently teach tennis to younger kids at the Claremont Club and I love it! I teach the pee wee class and teach on my own court at the summer camp. This 2019 season, I am the Varsity captain and continue to play 1 Doubles. In the future, I hope to major in pre-med and eventually become a pediatrician.
