Kaylani Payne '24 Recruiting Profile

I would like to go as far to earn a Masters degree in Child Psychology. I am a hardworking individual and I have a strong mindset. All throughout my academic career, iv'e maintained honor roll or principals honor roll. I take tennis as seriously as I do my academics. Although my freshman and sophomore year I played doubles, I always strive for better and work hard to prove I am worthy of playing singles my junior year. I like to beat my own records and strive for the best. During the summer, I condition my body throughout the week and put in work at the courts on the weekends. Now that my high school season is starting, I will be training on the courts 6 days a week for 2.5 hours each day. During this time I don't only plan on strengthening my game, but my mindset as well. I believe that if you have a strong mindset you'll have the ability to overcome any challenges and push forward to be the best.
