Evelyn Haro '22 Recruiting Profile

I've never been involved in a sport that makes me as passionate as tennis. I was in basketball for 3 years, track and field for 3 years, and still never got the same feeling as I did when I won my first tennis match. For tennis, I am prepared for anything and everything, I am ready to put my all out on the court, during practice and matches.  In my second year of tennis, I was ranked #2 on the ladder, alongside my best friend who was #1, but she has had much more experience than me and is older. As the title Student-Athlete comes, though, I do make my academics my priority. I do a pretty good job of balancing out sports and school in high school, so I will definitely be able to do it easily in college. As long as I can remember, I've ranked #1 of my graduating class.
