I’ve been playing sports since I was three years old. My mom played tennis in high school and was just waiting for either my sister or I to get into it, and it was me. One summer I didn’t have much to do and my mom had found a summer tennis camp in town and I went. I picked tennis up very quickly and really enjoyed being out on the courts. Now it is my favorite thing to do and I play every chance I get. Stepping out on to the courts makes me feel at home and being apart of my high school team has made me feel accepted. I am looking forward to improving my game and continuing to play through college and later on.
I've always had good grades in school, usually straight A's. I have over a 4.0 GPA. I always put school and tennis first. I am an excellent student, all of my teachers have told my parents that. I always challenge myself in school, especially now with three AP classes.
I am interested in studying physical therapy in college and pursuing a career in that field. Luckily, my high school has a Sports Medicine class that I am taking this year and am looking forward to taking the second class next year.
