I am an aspiring graphic design artist that has a passion for tennis. As a military dependent, I have trained with several coaches in Louisiana, Kansas, Nebraska, and California. This unique upbringing has instilled in me a deep appreciation for differing styles of play and coaching. I am currently a Junior in High School, the team captain, and #1 varsity player with a 34-2 record (as of October 2019). I won the Channel League and made it to round two of the CIF Southern Sectionals. I have now returned to the USTA circuit with the goal of increasing my UTR to an 8. My dream university is UC Santa Cruz “banana slugs”. I attended the Nike Tennis campus onsite and met the coach and players. My commitment to College tennis is iron clad as I continue to prepare for SATs and hone my power, precision, and placement- my three P’s. Most recently, I won the Round table which is the top athlete for Northern Santa Barbara County. When not on the court, I enjoy performing arts, producing music, and writing short stories. I am also a prolific writer and may double major in English and graphics . My father retires from the US Air Force next year and I plan on using the GI Bill, if needed, somewhere in California. My upbringing infused a sense of honor and purpose to every task and that character ethic is central to our action. I look forward to bringing this ethos to any College tennis team that I am privileged to attend.
