Where I was raised there is not much of a community to start tennis at a young age and in order to begin you have to know somebody who knows somebody in order to get a start. With that being said there is not a lot of attention that is given to tennis here in my hometown. I started tennis at 13 years old when I made the JV tennis team as a freshman playing 1 double and 2 singles. My sophomore year I made varsity and play 6 singles and 3 doubles. As a junior with lots of hard work during the off season I was given the chance to be captain of the team to help lead them and to be number 1 singles. Unfortunately my junior was different due to it being the covid season. I got 5th in league that year. My senior was my best, 1 in singles and shifting between 1 and 2 for doubles. I placed in my league, and made it to are in singles. As a team we won CIF D4 central section as seed #4. Currently I am captain and number 1 at my local community college, Porterville College, looking to find my next step as a trasnfer. I also have began playing in junior USTA tournaments in the 18u division.
