Lauren Sandifer '17 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play on a tennis team in college. It is not as important to me what division the team, but rather the characteristics of the team and the academics at the school. I want to not only succeed in tennis but also in college. I've been on school tennis teams since sixth grade and have loved every year. I love it because I enjoy working together and building relationships with my fellow teammates and coaches. I've earned the title of Most Valuable Player and Captain for both my middle school and high school teams. In college I hope to contribute as both an athlete and a leader on the team. I've maintained a 3.8 to 4.0 GPA while taking Honors and AP classes and working year-round at tennis. I am able to handle a rigorious academic schedule as a full time tennis player. I'm excited to see where tennis will take me.
