Throughout my experiences in playing sport, tennis specifically, I have noticed and been told I learn rather easily. In my opinion this separates me from other players because my ability allows me to catch onto mistakes faster and improve from them. I am also very devoted during a match, meaning not only do I tend to be encouraging with teammates, but also put the pressure of succeeding on myself. Within my years in middle school and the start of high school, I have come to notice I am a clear extrovert, allowing me to make bonds with peers and coaches that may sometimes be difficult to make for others. Along with that, I have played a variety of sports in my life including gymnastics for 8 years, volleyball for 2 years, track and field for 3 years, skiing since I was 7, and the sport I have been the most invested in, tennis. Being as though I have participated in so many sports in my life competitively, I have seen that my stamina, motivation, adaptation to pressure, and team sportsmanship has grown and become some of my greatest assests. Tennis is a sport I could easily see myself playing in college and after, and hopefully it is something I end up taking part in.
