Hello,

My name is Lauren Mestas and I have been playing tennis since the ripe age of 4. Tennis has been a release for me that lets a series of emotions shown in my tennis. I hope in college to find a way to play competativly but still have an enjoyable time with the team. The balance of academic and tennis had always been a strong point of mine as well as leadership. Being able to lead is foremost in tennis as well as mental game. Mental game is something that is overlooked a lot in tennis but those who carry a strong metal game tend to be the better players. Athletically I am not gifted I didn't just pick up a racket and be amazing. I was trained through different tennis programs and have become stronger than I ever believed I would turn out to be.
