When I was signed up for tennis as a 10 year old girl, I had no idea the significance the sport would have on my life. For the first few years of my tennis career, I simply played during the summer with minimal match play but a decent foundation. However, when I began playing tennis for Thompson Valley High School, I realized the competition and the thrill of match play is something I wanted to pursue for my college career and the rest of my life.
I have become seriously committed to playing college tennis; I joined an academy a little over a year ago that I play for year-round and I'm constantly looking for tournaments to raise my UTR. Through my unwavering commitment to tennis, I have learned that I am diligent on and off the court. Even though I lost my junior year of tennis to uncontrollable variables, it did not stop me from playing my heart out at the academy.
I'm looking for a school that would be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I believe I have not only the talent, but also the work ethic to make a difference on a college tennis team. As a four-year tennis varsity athlete for Thompson Valley, I know I have what it takes to fit into a college team and make a difference!
