I would like to emphasize the important characteristics in my tennis history. As a junior, I played primarily in France, the ITF and COSAT tournaments up until 2010. I was home schooled through my freshman year and therefore did not play varsity tennis until my sophomore year of high school. I love tennis and am determined to play my best and be my best, both in high school and college. I would like to play competitively in college and am looking for a good "match" up with a college. I also am seriously interested in my academics. My dream is to be doctor and work in Doctor without Borders. I am fluent in French (a requirement) and have already served as a "doctor" in Haiti doing wound care at Mother Theresa's Medical Clinic. Most of my non-tournament periods are spent in service of this sort. While playing in the COSAT on the ITF tour in South America, I met many South American players (who were great!). But I also experienced first hand the poverty and deprivation of the children there. I currently work in a tennis ministry to bring tennis to those who are impoverished, but more importantly I want to help those children who are in dire need of medical attention. This is my dream. To play the sport I love, to bring tennis to those who do not have the opportunity I have had, and then to help those through my (ultimately medical) education. I hope to hear from a coach who appreciates my experience and is interested in helping me work towards fulfilling my dreams.
I am interested in playing in a competitive league, and am eager to work hard to contribute to the team. I am open to hearing from any Division and region. A scholarship would help my family. My intended major is in the sciences with a minor in music.
