I started out playing tennis when I was 4 years old. I've been just going for fun when I was 5 years old just messing around. It was only until I was in the 7th grade that I picked tennis again. I was not seated on my team for the entire year. After my 7th grade year, I knew I wanted to keep playing tennis. Playing and practicing the whole summer, I joined the tennis team again for my 8th-grade year. I was seated #1. I've won all my games and was seated 4th in the district. Since then I've been seated #1 all the way to my 11th-grade year. As my senior year is approaching, I am very confident I will be #1 once again and take me and my team to nationals and state.
I wish to be a professional tennis player in the future. I am still unsure if I want to be on a team or play independent but I know for one I still have some ways to go to be the best I can be. I am already confident in my abilities to play my hardest and play the longest. I'm a fighter and I will not give up. Every point counts. If I fail, I will take the next point and keep playing. I exercise 3 days a week with a personal trainer to not only help my endurance but make me stronger. I'm very friendly and can make friends as I go. I'm a helper and a great listener. If my team needed help I will be right there to help them with what they needed help with.
My serve is my greatest aspect of my game. I work on it every time I'm at a private lesson or when I'm by myself. It's fast and precise. I work on my forehand as well as my backhand when I'm practicing and when I'm excersicing.
