I have always been an athlete, mainly gymnastics, basketball, softball, and tennis as the sports I’ve played competitively.
My love for sports has always challenged me, but tennis especially has been the sport I’ve most enjoyed, as it is also the hardest of the ones I’ve previously played.
I started out with gymnastics at a young age, and continued at a high level for around 3 years. During middle school, I played basketball as the point guard/shooting guard for the team and won the NAML Championships. In fall 2022 and spring 2023, I played as pitcher and shortstop in softball.
My tennis journey started around 2019, but was cut short due to mandatory (indoor) closed courts due to Covid. I picked it back up in 2022, and have been training at the Florida Tennis Center (John Hudson Tennis Academy) to date.
In Spring 2023, I made my local high school team, which went on to win Districts.
After season ended, I have been training rigorously everyday (5 hours summer training, 3-5 hrs regular) for the past 7 months, as well as competing in weekend tournaments.
I am a very competitive athlete with an explosive and agressive tennis game. I am looking for a college that will challenge me past my own ability.
