I am 17 years old and I'm currently a rising Senior at Academy of The Holy Names in South Tampa. I have been playing since I was around 11 years old. Unlike most of my competitors I feel I started tennis late in the game but my passion for the sport was immediately shown through my hard work and strive to be as good as I could be and compete with people at a high level. I train 5 days a week for a few hours and play tournaments on the weekends, I also keep up with fitness on my own and at practice. My dream is to play for a Division 1 school that not only is demanding in sports but also in education. I play on the varsity team for my school at the number one spot. Playing on a team is so much fun and so exciting especially since with competitive tennis outside of school you are on your own. So getting to experience a team aspect is so much fun. I strive to be as positive on the court as I can and uplifting to my teammates during matches. I am very competitive but I also have very good sportsmanship on and off the court. I’m very excited to see where my tennis journey will take me and hopefully I can continue it at a college I love!
