I would very much like to play tennis in college. I have played Junior Team Tennis through USTA programs, ALTA team tennis here in Atlanta, and I play for my high school team. I really like having teammates to cheer for and also to cheer me on. I work very hard on the court and just as hard off the tennis court to improve my tennis game. I just started my junior year of high school and although I am committed to tennis, I have other interests as well. Unfortunately COVID has impacted my ability to play and compete for the past year so I have not achieved many of my tennis goals. As I mentioned I have other interests, I volunteer often for the Atlanta Community Food Bank because I know how many people struggle with food insecurity. I also compete in martial arts tournaments and I plan to be a black belt in Taekwondo by my senior year. This year I was selected as a CBYX Fellow, a program sponsored by the US State Department and the German government. I was scheduled to spend my entire junior year as a cultural student ambassador in Germany but due to the COVID pandemic the exchange program has been cancelled in-person and I am participating virtually. If you are looking for a recruit in the 2022 class that is gritty, well-rounded, and hard working, I hope you will consider me for your team. I have uploaded some skills videos, I hope you take a few minutes to view some of them.
