Drea Robinson '23 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Drea Robinson and I am a part of the Class of 2023 at Camden County High School. I started taking tennis serious in 2018 and my goal is to play college tennis. I knew I wanted to play college tennis when I went to Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in 2019 for a summer camp. Van Der Meer had many teaching pro's that shared their experience with playing tennis at the collegiate level and it sounded like a dream to me. This past high school tennis season, I had a winning record of 13-5. My high school team got 2nd place at our Region Tournament and I got awarded 2nd Team All-Region. Outside of high school tennis, I frequently compete in  tournaments and go to local tennis clinics. In 2021 and 2022 I played on the 18U Golden Isles Grandslammers travel team and got match play in both singles and doubles. Some extracurricular activities I am a part of is National Honors Society, Senior Beta Club, was the Student Council Secretary in the 2021-2022 school year, will be the Executive Board President for the 2022-2023 school year, and volunteer to teach Sunday School. In college, I want to major in Exercise Science to become a Physical Therapist. I hope to extend my tennis career into college tennis.
