Update: I will be attending Georgia College & State University.Thank you to the coaches who reached out with wonderful opportunities to continue my tennis journey.
My name is Rachel Wright and I am a senior at Grayson High School. I have been playing tennis for about two years now and even though I got a late start , it has only driven me to be more determined throughout my training in order to make up for lost time. I have discovered a passion for tennis and I have a focused goal to play in college.
I am a very motivated and driven person. When I set my mind to do something, I work hard to make sure it is done to the very best of my ability. This is demonstrated in my tennis training as I have continually worked very hard to get as good as I can in the time that I have been involved, all while keeping a GPA of 4.0+
Along with my hard work on and off of the court, I am a very social person and love a good team atmosphere. I value relationships and am often described as a very bubbly person. You will most likely find me laughing and smiling when I’m not in game mode and I will always be the first to cheer my friends on! I even won the “best sportsmanship” and “Most improved Player” awards at our tennis banquets which were voted on by my peers and coaches.
I am looking for a smaller college in Georgia with a strong community atmosphere. I know that I want to play tennis and be part of a positive environment so the atmosphere is very important to me.
