Personal Statement

Tennis acts as an important role in my everyday life. Participating in such a wonderful sport from a young age has molded me into the person I am today. Through tennis I have gained confidence, positive self-esteem, and integrity. These values, being a priority not only in tennis, but in life, have helped me overcome an immense amount of obstacles. Playing tennis in college is not only a passion, but an honor. However I have much as much effort into my education and attending a top academic school is just as important if not more.I have maintained the same excellence in the classroom as I have on the court and I will not sacrifice my education just to play college tennis. My goal is to obtain the best college education possible while playing the sport I love.
