Ever since I started playing tennis in the 4th grade, I knew this was going to be my main sport that I wanted to play in college and one day play professionally. At first, I thought soccer would be my main sport to play but the past years that I have been playing I noticed this sport isn’t the sport. I remember it being fun and wanting to continue playing but instead made me realize soccer is my second choice of sport I would like to play. My parents, especially my dad, wanted me to continue playing soccer through college even though i didn’t want to disappoint them. However one day I told my parents I wanted to play tennis through college and one day hopefully go pro as Serena Williams. Explaining how I see her play on tv or she be passing all over social media and I was impressed how good she plays tennis and sometimes I would think, “I want to play just like her but in my own ways”. Told my parents if tennis don’t work for me through college then I’ll try to the second thing I love to do and it’s soccer and also study sport medicine through college. Overall, I’m a hard worker and if I fail the first time I’ll keep doing it until I achieve it at the end. Not giving up and not let nobody tell me what I can and cannot achieve cause it my goals and it would continue to be my goal. Just want to make my family proud and make myself proud of what decisions I make through life.
