If there's anything to know about me its that I give my all in everything I do. No matter if it's my schoolwork, my sports or friendships, I give 110%. I have a strong work ethic that compliments my athletic ability. I have a drive to succeed; whether I'm on the court or in a classroom there shouldn't be any reason for me to not try my hardest. Win or lose (although I like winning more than losing) I will always be cherished in God's and my parents eyes so with that mentality why not give it my best? My work ethic helps me create goals; one of my goals is to not just "go to" college but to thrive at college while playing tennis. I am good at focusing and executing tasks. For example, if my tennis coach tells me that I'm making too many unforced errors to my opponent's advantage I will focus on being more consistent and execute progressing from that point on. That goes for being a teammate too; I am a positive and selfless team player. If I notice that my partner or teammate is getting frustrated I focus on cheering them up and letting them know I am grateful for them. It also applies to my grades; I am aware that my grades have an important impact on college and for any other goal I might have. I believe that a peace of mind and an open heart can make you a more compassionate and forgiving athlete/person in general and that will always be a goal and aspiration of mine no matter what I do or who I play for.
