My name is Andrea Osborn. My #1 goal is to play college tennis. I am entering my Junior year at Highland High School. In Idaho the boys and girls' seasons are combined and played in the spring. My freshmen season I played #1 girls singles most of the year finishing with an overall record of 24-4. I moved to mixed doubles for districts and my partner and I were district champions. At the State tournament we finished in fifth place. Last year, (sophomore year) I played singles all year winning the district singles title and finishing 5th at State. This year I will play #1 singles.
I would consider myself a natural leader, and am not afraid of working hard to reach my goals. Last year as a sophomore, I was voted team captain. In 2012, my family and I were named the USTA National Tennis Family of the Year. We were flown to Florida for the awards banquet. I love working with children. Four days a week during the summer, I would give group and private tennis lessons to kids from ages 6-14.
