I started playing tennis when I was around age 9. I then quit to pursue ballet, but was forced to retire early from my dance career - after receiving a professional offer - due to an injury. I picked up tennis again at the start of my sophomore year. Although my stats aren't the most impressive I would be a great asset to your team. From my sophomore year to my junior year I moved from 2 singles to 1 singles and improved my record by 6 wins. My team went from a losing season sophomore year to an 11-7 record my junior year. I was one win away from first team all conference and I hope to reach that goal my senior year. My team had it's first sectional finals appearance in years during my junior season, and we managed to win an upset against Yorktown High School, in the first round, with all three of our singles winning. I work hard and am very dedicated, and after my sophomore season I began to take tennis more seriously and realized how much I loved the sport. I would love to continue to grow and play throughout college.
