Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Sara Mejía! I was born in New York but live in Bogota Colombia so I have dual citizenship. I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old but when I turned 11 I decided to start at high performance training. I quickly worked my way to international tournaments and held a national ranking at the beginning of 2021 of #15. I was also #3 in Bogotá and #15 in doubles. My UTR has been as high as 6. I am an offensive player, I really like to always be on the attack, my best shots have always been the return and the serve, I am a very calm player and I like to always fight the balls until the very end. I've always been told how coachable I am. I am also very self-critical and I like to correct mistakes instantly. ADD here what you're looking for in a college, academically.
