Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Luna Feillon, I was born in January 2006, and tennis is my passion! I am from France, and it’s my last year here. I am graduating in June, so I am searching for a college for august 23’. I have always been a good student, and I am very invested in my studies. I always do my best to achieve my objectives, and I am very motivated to succeed in my studies and in my tennis! I am searching for a college team in either D1 or D2. Doing things halfway is not an option for me. I am searching to get better every day.
Studies are also very important to me. I am interested in medicine, so I would love to study sciences as well as give my best to my team at the same time. On the court, I have an aggressive game; I love to play close to the baseline and move into the court to hit the ball early. I know that I will learn so much in college and improve my game. It is the only thing I want. I skipped a grade in school, so you might think that I’m young, but I would consider myself to be mature, independent, and always ready to learn new things.
Playing college tennis would be the best place to start the tennis career that I dream of and continue my studies in which I’m very involved. Moreover, tennis is an individual sport, but for me, the opportunity to be a part of a team is a good challenge and a real motivation. Going to the United States would be a real chance for me to discover another dimension of this amazing sport, and I can’t wait to fight on the court and share moments with my teammates!
