Personal Statement
I started playing tennis because I watched my dad play. When I was 3, I would walk around in his tennis shoes and try to hold a racquet. When I was about 6, my dad asked if I wanted to learn how to play tennis, and I said yes. In 2016, about seven years ago, I started learning tennis from a professional coach. Since then, tennis has been a big part of my life. I enjoy playing a lot. Now, I train 5-6 days a week and work on fitness, strength, and conditioning twice a week.
I am very disciplined, love new challenges, and always try my best. My fellow players and my mom say I am a fighter who never gives up, even in tough matches. I have always wanted to get a degree and balance tennis with my education. I believe that US collegiate tennis is the best path for me. I want to earn a business degree and play tennis at the highest level.
I hope to find the right college that meets my needs and allows me to pursue my tennis dreams. I want to make my parents and college proud one day.
