Personal Statement
My name is Uliana Dotsenko and I am graduating from High School in 2024. I have been playing tennis since 6 years old. This sport means a lot for me. At nine years I went to my first tournament, I knew that I could win everyone who would be on my way. I won the first place, for me this was so exciting. I so liked the atmosphere there cause every person loved the same thing as do. And I understood that I chose the right sport.
I started training every day for two hours plus athletics three times a week. When you play on a court you feel free, you do not think about anything except how to play this ball and continue the match. I began to become more resilient, faster, stronger. And with that I had time to went to school, had good marks and just had a free time for myself. I was so motivated to win all matches that I could not stop trained every day. When you win the matches you understand that all your training, motivation, self discipline, all the efforts you have made are not in vain.
I am hard working and love to be pushed.
