Bhargavi Kalaga '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5 ft 7 inch, 150 lbs singles tennis player.

I am an international student from India (state of Orissa).

I am currently a junior and play AITA (All India Tennis Association) tournaments.

I had been a runner up in U-16, AITA champion series tournaments twice.

I started playing ITF juniors & womens' tournaments from October 2015.

I have a 3.72/4.00 GPA. I am planning to appear for SAT exam in January 2016.

Before being completely focused in Tennis, I have played Basket ball for my school teams. I have been a member of my school team, which own interschool tournaments.

I always take the lead in training sessions. I am extremely disciplined and follow coach's instruction to the dot.

I never compromise on my fitness quotient and follow a healthy diet.

I also try to motivate my team mates to follow the fitness regime to the core.

I have always been a good team member. Never had any problem with my team mates ever.

I would like to join a school offering History major.

I would prefer schools in the south-eastern states as I have my extended family members staying in that part.

Ideally, I would like to go to a school which gives maximum oppurtunity to play tennis and hone my skills.

I aspire to play professional womens tennis at the highest level.

My most valuable asset is my self discipline and hard work.
