Personal Statement
My name is Janna Lerma Murillo, I am 17 years old. I live in Pereira, Colombia.
My passion for the tennis was born when I was 7 years old, and the consistency and effort that required to be a good tennis player has taught me to be a disciplined and responsible person in all aspects of my life. All my life I have prepared myself to be an integral person. I have practiced many sports like soccer, judo, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, dancing, cheerleading and tennis. Also, I have been in an artistic environment since I have taken piano, theatre, ukelele, violin, flute and drawing classes.
I am a very disciplined and autonomous student. And this allowed me to maintain a very good GPA.
I also consider myself an altruist person as I love volunteering helping children in some poor neighborhoods in my city.
Last but not least, I consider that I am a good candidate for any team because I had several opportunities to play in team tournaments in my country and I loved it. I love the idea of being part of a team and compete as one. Besides, I always give my best in training and competition and I am constantly looking for ways how I improve my game. I am considered a fairly calm player on the court but at the same time competitive and energetic.
I would love the opportunity to talk with you about the possibility of be part of your team on spring of 2025 considering that I will finish my school studies on fall 2024.
