Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Martina, a high school tennis player with dual US-Spanish citizenship.
I train in Spain in some of the toughest conditions (extreme heat and rainy/cold).
I'm really looking forward to playing college tennis and forming part of a team! I am currently ranked 1306 in Spain (RFET - Spanish Tennis Federation).
I've been training hard these past years to perfect my tennis technique, playing about six hours a week and competing in as many tournaments as I can.
As a part of my tennis eduaction, I enrolled in an intensive program at the prestigous French Touch Academy in Cap dÁgde, France in November 2022.
I also did a week-long intensive training program at the David Ferrer Tennis Academy in September 2023. You can check out the Head Coach's report here (in Spanish).
