Personal Statement
My name is Wada Maseko, I am 16 years of age born in a small country in Africa called Botswana. My long life dream is to one day be able to play on the WTA circuit. I believe that going through college tennis can help me in terms of getting exposure and match play. I've always been told I'm not good enough and so I persevere. I don't believe in giving up. I'm able to adapt well into a different environment and I'm open to any new opportunities that may come my way. Not only do I give 110% on court, but also in the classroom. Its so very important to me to make sure that there's a balance between academics and tennis. I'm a team player, I love meeting new people and I'm certain that I'll bring a new culture into any college I'm placed in. I hope this sums up the type of person I am. Thank you.
