Personal Statement
I play tennis since I am about 6 years old, as all members of my family are fanatic hobby tennis players. I started competitive tennis at the age of 10 and with 11 years the Chilean tennis federation invited my to their sub 12 tennis team to represent my country in south american championships. From then on I was number one or two of Chile, with 15 years I was number 5 in south america and was invited from the south american tennis association to join their selection to travel to Europe (Italy and Tunez). My best ITF ranking was 240 and actually I have a UTR of 9.44.
I am convinced that I am a good candidate for the team as I enjoy to play singles as well as doubles. I am used to work hard, and I am very disciplined. I always wanted to be a College Tennis player which allows me to combine sports and studies.
I can say that I am a global citizen as my father is Chilean and my mother is Austrian. That is why I also understand and speak German. I want to a fully bilingual school until 8th grade and actually I am in my last year of high school.
