Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Allison. I am a sophomore and have attended public school for two years. Starting next year, I will be attending Kansas Connections, an online private school, so that I can focus on training. I played recreationally for 3 years but started training seriously 2 years ago, and now train a minimum of 20 hours a week. I have not completed this year due to injury and a coaching change. I utilized this break to to undergo some technique and fitness changes, and I plan to start competing again this summer! More than anything, I value the opportunity to compete and thrive in a team environment. I‘m proactive by nature and love to bring people together, whether it’s organizing team hangouts or workouts.

I am also willing to redshirt, not play my freshman year, or take a gap year after high school in order to be prepared for college tennis and to be sure I end up at a school with the right Athletics, academics, and team culture for me.

Here are some important stats about me:

  • I train 20-25 hours/week
  • Train at Genesis Rock Road (Wichita, KS)
