I grew up playing tennis with local high school students but it was not until my 8th grade year that I was able to compete. I immediately fell in love with the sport. By dedicating five years to tennis and with my pretty awarded background in track, I became a threat on the court. Through tennis I learned to appreciate hard work, if I truly wanted something I had to go get it. I worked with others to try and better myself year-round. Outside of sports I also excel in school. Over the last four years I have been enrolled in AP and honors classes to try and get the most out of my education. I am hoping to continue playing tennis on a collegiate level.
