Haley Acuna '11 Recruiting Profile

I am five foot six, weigh 120 pounds, run a seven minute mile, am very fast on the court, and love tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was two years old. I have been playing competitively since I was seven. From my years of experiences I have played in many southern, state, and some national tournaments. Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be a part of a college tennis team. My father and all of his brothers were members of a college tennis team, and I would like to follow in his foot steps. For all eighteen years of my life, I have played tennis and loved the sport. Being that my dad is my coach, I have a very hard working ethic. I never give up and always try as hard as I can to get better. I have very good listening skills and am very coachable. I love being part of a team. It really pumps me up and makes me feel like I must always give 100 percent. I have no preference in where I will go to college. I would like for it to possibly stay close to Louisiana so that I do not get too homesick. But I am open to any school in the United States. I would like to become an attorney in criminal law. It is my dream to one day, open up my own firm. For tennis, I would like to play all four years. I would love to be able to assist any team in defeating opponents. Tennis is my life and I would be a perfect fit for your team!
