My long term objectives are to get a degree in business or sports medicine, in order to start my own business that can help young athletes become more confident, and be able to heighten their level of skill. I would also like to help these athletes grow in mental toughness, I believe that is an aspect of sporting and life that goes highly overlooked so I would like to shine some light on it.
I know how to work with others well and am able to help people so they can better themselves. I wouldn't call this good leadership skills, I know people that would but I prefer to think of it as just something that everyone should know how to do since everyone always could be helped to improve in some aspect of their game.
I am of very strong character when I put my mind to something there's little to nothing at all that can stop me, anything that does get in my way is considered a minor set back and helps me collect my thoughts and find a better more efficient way. I have played all kinds of sports since I was little, coaches usually tell me I have impressive athletic ability and that I would be a good asset to a good team. Academically I find it difficult to focus sometimes, which is something I've had to deal with since I was little but I've been able to overcome it and work hard to get over it completely at some point. I like to feel challenged and be part of things that are greater than myself so I would like to go to a school that will provide a good life lesson through multiple challenges.
