I started playing tennis in 6th grade, and I'm currently playing for my High School team. Freshman year, I was #1 Doubles for JV, and a floater for Varsity. Sophomore year, I was #4 doubles Varsity with my season coming out as 17-7. This year as a junior, I played my first year as Singles at 3rd. I finished my season at 8-11, seeded 4th in the region, and finishing 3rd for the region.
I have a strong position at the net, and have a good understanding of playing both singles and doubles. I am competitive and will not give up on any ball. Overall, I am still improving with each day.
I wish to attend a college that has students just as committed to succeeding as I am. I want to be able to maintain my studies and GPA throughout college, as well as improve every year at the collegiate level.
I aspire to play at the collegiate level, as I can not imagine not playing tennis after High School. I will work hard and strive to do my best and be the best I can be. I will ALWAYS give my all and not let myself or my team down. This all goes for my school work as well. I work hard to maintain my GPA and stay on the Honor Roll every year and NHS, and stay on the team.
