Addie Persian '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Addie Persian and I am passionate about my future academics and tennis potential in college! I have played tennis since I was in second grade and have played on my high school's Varsity team since freshman year. I was an all-conference player during my junior season and my team as a whole was runner-up in our section along with taking first in our conference. During the summers, I play in many tennis tournaments. These include individually scheduled tournaments locally (ex. in Elk River, Chisago Lakes, Delano, Rogers Tennis Club, etc.) along with participating in a Junior Team Tennis USTA league. I also play in a league on Sundays with adults in the community and varsity tennis players. Uniquely, I have played doubles with my identical twin sister in many tennis tournaments and varsity matches. Coming full circle, I have volunteered to coach early elementary schoolers at tennis clinics in Delano; just as I was coached and grew to love the game in my youth. I am passionate about the game of tennis and my academic successes. I have successfully balanced varsity athletics along with rigorous academics in high school and plan to further this in college. I want to take any and all opportunities that college throws my way: including travel, clubs, internships, sports, unique classes, and more. I am most interested in private, secular colleges with academically rigorous programs. Schools located in the midwest are ideal for me, however I'd be willing to attend an institution anywhere in the country if it appears to be a good fit! I look forward to corresponding with coaches looking for a driven and passionate student and player just like me!
