Hi! My name is Ryann Witter. I live in Rochester, MN, and have been playing tennis at the Rochester Athletic Club since I was 7. I have always loved playing tennis, and can't imagine my life without it. I grew up competing in USTA tournaments across the Northern Section and even competed at 14s Zonals back in 2019. I started playing varsity high school tennis at Lourdes High School in 7th grade, have been playing ever since, and was even captain of the team this past season. My team has qualified for and placed top 5 in the state tournament each year I have been on the team. I have even qualified for the individual state tournament several times and placed 3rd in the 2021 State Single Tournament. Tennis has given me perseverance, drive, joy, heartbreak, patience, countless memories, and lifelong friends. I want to continue to work hard to improve my skills and compete at the collegiate level. Some would say I am near the end of my tennis journey as I graduate high school, but I think it is just beginning, and I cannot wait to see what is next!
