I am a 18 year old tennis player from Staples, MN. My parents decided to home-school me after the first grade; at the time they didn’t realize that the freedom it provided would help feed my tennis “addiction”. Along with being a student of the game, my coaches have nicknamed me the “Human Sponge” because I soak up every piece of information, and can transfer it into my game. The fact that I have to travel 85 miles one way to take lessons keeps me motivated to work hard every time I step on a court. I’m very blessed to have the parents I have because they are willing to let me drive 6 days a week to my club to hit, teach, and train. I’m committed to reaching my full potential with the opportunities that have been given to me. I’m interested in playing at a highly competitive level, wherever that may be.
